COLORADO Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention
Fentanyl has become an incredibly urgent issue in Colorado—there were 540 overdose deaths involving fentanyl in 2020, up from 223 in 2019.
Many street drugs are being laced with synthetic fentanyl, and many individuals don’t even know that they’re taking something that has fentanyl in it—they think it’s cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription pills, etc. This puts many individuals at risk for an overdose, given fentanyl’s potency. Our task is to educate individuals about fentanyl and safe use/harm reduction.
MY ROLE
I was the lead art director on this project. I led the concepting for all of our campaign ideas. I created all of the art shown below and concepted and storyboarded all the animations. The website didn’t come out exactly as I’d hoped, but after a lot of back and forth with our developer, we got it to a place that I felt comfortable going live with.
