March 31st - The End

And, just like that, March has come to an end.

Thanks to all those who followed a non-educator along for this SOL journey. I’m so grateful to be welcomed back by this community year after year!

In these 31 days, I have made new friends, I have made plenty of new art, and, most importantly, I have converted my mother into an oat milk lavender latte-aholic. Seriously. She’s tried oat milk lavender lattes from (I think) 3 different places by now, and has even funded a couple of mine. Welcome to the dark side, Mom. It’s tasty over here.

I also would like to say thank you for all the kind words and feedback I’ve gotten on the pieces that I’ve shared! Yesterday I posted a progress series of one of my recent illustrations - the process of how it got to where it is now. My loyal commenters had a lot to do with the total remodel the piece underwent, and I’m so much happier with the final because of it.

If you’re curious to see the final series in card and print form, they’re officially live on my site (and if you’re in the Denver area, Parlor plant shop will start carrying the cards next weekend)!

I always make the (empty) promise to stay a Tuesday poster, but hopefully it will actually happen this year now that my blog is connected to my personal site. It’s such a fun way to stay connected & to share whatever I’m working on. So… until Tuesday, slicers! It’s been a pleasure to share March with you all.
